I can see a lot of scandinavian inspiration in this beautiful place found on Shoot Factory. This architect designed house located in Slough, 40 km from London, has pretty much everything I crave for in a modern home, clean and simple lines, hard wood floor, huge open space, big sliding doors opening onto a terrasse, beautifully design outdoor space. This one even has a lake! What an amazing place to forget about a long and busy day at work! The garden looks fantastic, peaceful and relaxing and although the interior doesn't have much personality in its current state, what an incredible white canvas! The possibilities are endless. If I owned this house, I would try to inject a bit of warmth to it. It seems a bit souless at the moment. Light wood furniture, beautiful modern rugs, lots of frames, black and white photos, white porcelaine, a few patches of colours. That would be if I win the lottery of course...
